Currently he works for several magazines covering college athletics including Fight on State, in State College, PA, which covers Penn State Sports and OwlsDaily.com, in Philadelphia, covering Temple University sports. His photos are also prominently featured in the Temple University football and basketball media guides.

Harvey is a 1972 graduate of Temple University where he majored in journalism.
